Tree Felling At Gannow

Felling diseased trees ready to replant in the spring

It had been identified that the trees around Gannow Community Centre have Ash Dieback disease so we have to have them removed. This has been funded by Gannow Big Local.

The Woodlands Trust are donating 15 saplings in March to replace the trees being felled. Mainly fruit and bird attracting berry specimens will be planted around the centre with some also going in the community garden which will be fully open by April complete with new raised beds.

We will publish updates over the coming weeks and months on this development and others in and around Gannow Community Centre.
