Gannow Community Garden

It's looking good!

Gannow Community Garden was born out of a partnership between Electricity North West and BPRCVS. Electricity North West agreed to tidy up the land at the side of the substation next to the Community Centre after being contacted by our centre coordinator, Alan Barnes. The land was looking tired, tatty and full of litter.

Electricity North West have removed some old trees to create a more open and inviting space. They planted some wildflowers and have installed a number of raised flower and planting beds.

Gannow residents are being encouraged to get involved with the community garden by keeping it tidy. We're even looking into planting and growing some fruit and vegetables. For more information or to get involved contact Alan on 01282 436396.
