New Activity Sessions

See what's already started in 2019 and find out what's coming soon

On Tuesday evenings, alongside the very popular Youth Club in the upstairs room, Gannow Community Centre brings Street Dance to the Gannow Community. The first session started on 22nd January 2019 and is open to children aged 7-12 at 6:30 pm. Sessions for teenagers (aged 13+) get underway at 7:15 pm. Each of these sessions are free and run by Active Gannow.

For a while now we've been looking at getting the centre open more often at weekends. We're pleased to say that we now have an activity on Saturday mornings. Short Tennis is a young children's tennis activity in conjunction with Burnley Tennis Club. We host sessions of Short Tennis for anyone aged 4-9 years of age. The sessions take place from 9 am until 12 pm. For more information please contact Jez Palmer on 07825 771762 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. We now have a new room available to hire after we donated the snooker table to Calico's Gateway Project. Unfortunately the snooker room was underused and we thought that it would be better to donate it to somewhere that would get more use out of it.

Already we have several new bookings for this room including meditation, reiki training, gong baths, mediumship evenings and other holistic therapies which are coming very soon so watch this space for more information about launch dates, session times and more.
