Getting Back To Normal

All of our centres are fully reopening on Monday 19th July

In line with the removal of UK Government coronavirus restrictions on Monday 19th July 2021, BPRCVS will be reopening the front door to The CVS Centre on Yorkshire Street, Burnley. Staff, volunteers, resident groups and visitors are all welcome to use the front door from 9 a.m.

We are removing room capacity limits in our meeting rooms and other rooms available to hire. However we will still be maintaining social distancing where practical and ensuring that all shared, communal spaces are regularly deep cleaned. Hand sanitiser stations will be readily available around all of our centres and offices. Staff and visitors alike will be required to sanitise upon entry to any of our buildings. Face coverings will still be required in all communal areas of each of our buildings.

Additionally, Gannow Community Centre, due to the numbers of people that can congregate in the centre, is maintaining the one-way system they've had in place to further ensure the safety of visitors.

Our Pendle and Rossendale offices will be open as normal and able to accommodate client visits, partner meetings, etc.

BPRCVS will continue to encourage staff, resident groups, and room hirers to continue to exercise caution at their own discretion within their own office space and room hire sessions with respect to face coverings and social distancing.

New signage will be positioned around our buildings to inform visitors of these rules and procedures.

Our outreach staff will be starting to meet clients face-to-face again in their homes and in venues throughout Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale.

We will review this decision at the end of August.

BPRCVS will retain the right to implement changes prior to the review in August to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers and visitors to our centres and offices.
