Burnley Integration Fund ESOL Class

Helping refugees learn English

The final Burnley Integration Fund ESOL session was held on 25th March 2021.

The course has been conducted online for the last few months, but as restrictions lifted we were able to have in person lessons for the final two weeks.

BPRCVS volunteer Emma assisted the tutor this week by helping with end of term assessments.

To celebrate the learners successfully completing the course, Allison Lindgren, BPRCVS ESOL Coordinator, arranged for Ninja Coffee Company in Bacup to bring their mobile café to the class. Each learner practiced their new English speaking skills by ordering their own coffee and treats from the barista.
