Ponies For Peers

Pony riding lessons for refugees supported by BPRCVS

Funding has been awarded for refugee families to have pony riding lessons over the next couple of months. This funding is specifically for refugee families to help boost their mental health and wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic. The riding sessions take place every week at Peers Clough Farm in Rossendale.

Below are some pictures of one of the families (Manal and her daughters Jana and Alma). They had an absolutely fantastic time and will be attending once per week.

Peers Clough Packhorses said "It was lovely to welcome Manal, Jana & Alma to the farm this morning. They enjoyed brushing and riding the ponies Danny, Freddie and Target. Looking forward to seeing you & more refugee families soon. A big thank you to the National Lottery Coronavirus Community support fund, in partnership with the government for making it happen."
