Macmillan Coffee Morning 2020

Across our centres & a virtual offering too - Let's brew this!

The Macmillan Coffee Morning is the world's biggest coffee morning and this year BPRCVS is doing it a little differently.

The Coronavirus pandemic has resulted in us having to reduce the capacity quite significantly across all of our centres. That's why we're offering limited places at The CVS Centre and Gannow Community Centre, but also, for the first time ever, we are providing a virtual solution to this event. This means anybody still self-isolating from Covid-19 or experiencing anxiety at being out again because of the virus can attend from the comfort of their own home.

We have a number of fun activities planned throughout the morning and we've got some great prizes to give away to the lucky winners.

See yourself as a coffee and cake aficionado? Why not try our 20 question quiz all about coffee and cake.

Are you known for your funny quips and witty remarks? The coffee and cake closed caption competition is perfect for anyone with a clever tongue, sharp wits and a good sense of humour.

Whether you're a master baker or complete novice trying your hand at baking for the first time why not enter our bake-off competition. Due to guests attending virtually as well as joining us in our centres, we have decided to make this competition a decorating bake-off. There are three categories to enter with the winner of each winning a prize and the honour of being the best bake decorator in Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale!

Are you good at guessing? We've got a couple of competitions where the best guess wins unless you've got the patience to sit and count them all!

How do I attend? It's easy... all you have to do is go to the following Eventbrite link depending on where/how you want to attend.

The CVS Centre - Eventbrite booking link (free entry)
