Gannow Food Share Update

An update from Gannow Community Centre on their food share programme during the Coronavirus crisis

Key workers in the Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale areas, who have clients in need you can email a member of our Gannow Community Centre team who will arrange for 1 bag to be prepared per household. Due to stock levels and availability of food provisions we can not guarantee what will be in each bag, it is just what is available to us each day. Please contact Alex Martindale via email - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the name and address of the client in need.

BPRCVS already have a list of people in the immediate area of Gannow Community Centre who require help. We will ensure bags are made up for them. We ask if anyone knows of any vulnerable and isolating people they let us know their details so we can ensure they have a food bag made up for them.

Where possible we will explore delivery options taking into consideration health and safety protocols at every opportunity to ensure that social distancing rules are adhered to.

We will accept in person pick up of bags from people who require help. We will have a system in place so people are asked to arrive between 2-4pm. People must stand at the railings in designated places 6 foot apart and will be invited to come down and pick up a bag individually from the door. We will offer one bag per person, unless it is a key worker picking up for a number of clients.
