We have expanded our services

As we have added more projects associated with the welfare and wellbeing of children and families we have now created the Children & Families Department. Below is a simple breakdown of each project in this department. Watch this space for new content for each of these of the projects being added to the website over the coming weeks. Young Carers

The Young Carers project works with young carers age 7-18, who care for somebody with a mental health and/or substance misuse issue. The project provides emotional support, time out activities and group work. The aim of the project is reduce isolation, empower young carers to have a voice and raise self-esteem and aspirations. We Count Project

The We Count project works with children and young people age 7-18, who are currently considered a Looked after Child by the local authority. The project provides emotional support, helping to work through challenges, increase aspirations and empower to have a voice. FEP

The FEP project works with girls up to the age of 18, who are at risk of CSE. The project will support up to Level 2 on the continuum of need and look to signpost for support where the need is higher. The project aim is to increase self-esteem and confidence, positive life choices and relationships and keep safe work. ESOL

BPRCVS work with Syrian families in Burnley supporting them to access ESOL classes, working in partnership with services across the locality. The project supports students to attend ESOL class, ensuring there are no barriers to learning. ESOL – Language Café

BPRCVS in Pendle provide a Language Café two mornings per week for Syrian families. The Language Café provides drop in sessions, in a welcoming environment helping people to increase the knowledge of the English language and integrating in to the local community.
