Sessions resume again soon

Recently some of the male Syrian refugees that we support to attend ESOL classes have been getting back into football with the help of Burnley Football Club.

The students finished their last football session of the year in late November, but the free football sessions will resume on Friday 11th January 2019. Refugees and asylum seekers from Rawtenstall will be joining the sessions in the new year.

Two of BPRCVS' ESOL students, Tarek  & Ousama, were recently given a tour of Burnley Football Club. They were thrilled with the opportunity to see the grounds and go behind the scenes at Turf Moor after having been on the Turf for the live Monday night match against Newcastle United back in November. This was their first ever football match at Turf Moor which they absolutely loved so they didn't need much persuasion to go along to a behind the scenes stadium tour!

The free football sessions will resume again in January 2019.The sessions are open to all male refugees and asylum seekers in Burnley, Pendle, and Rossendale aged 18 and over.
