East Lancashire Voluntary Sector Resource Centre

The Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth Building

62/64 Yorkshire Street

Burnley

BB11 3BT

Burnley, Pendle & Rossendale CVS led a partnership consortium which secured a major Lottery Award to establish an East Lancashire Voluntary Sector Resource Centre. The centre meets a need which has been recognised within the East Lancashire Voluntary Sector for many years-the need to pool resources and share information and expertise. Well established organisations are able to provide support and assistance to newly formed or less experienced groups.

The Resource Centre houses a wide range of voluntary organisations and community groups, creating a 'one stop shop' for resources, information and activities. As well as accomodating groups permanently, the Centre is a community resource for all voluntary and community groups. It is located in Burnley with good road, rail, and bus links to all other East Lancashire towns. Free parking is available in the nearby St Mary's Church car park.
