The Take Part Pathfinder Project is a government funded scheme to encourage local people to take part in a variety of community, voluntary and democratic roles. This scheme also aims to enable individuals to Take Part by providing training opportunities and support to place people into a variety of opportunities

Take Part in Lancashire is managed by Burnley CVS. It forms part of the Take Part Pathfinder programme which is funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government and managed by the Community Development Foundation.

The Pathfinder project covers Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale in the County of Lancashire. We form part of the local CVS and are working together to improve engagement in the community and thus increase the level of influence that people and communities have over the decisions that affect their lives.
